The OBJECT PERMANENCE First Look Trailer will screen in the AFROCINEMATIKA Short Film Showcase
on 09.12.26 at San Francisco International Airport,
in conjunction with SFO Museum's Women of Afrofuturism exhibit.
This event is free & open to the public --- but tickets are required.

When an interstellar object reaches Earth, scientist Drexxceya and her best friend Echo both finally get what they’ve been wanting . . just not at all how they expected.

This film is for the huge audience of sci-fi fans who are hungry for elevated sci-fi stories led by diverse characters who reflect the world we live in. The film's First Look Trailer will premiere at San Francisco International Airport in September 2026, followed by an Oakland screening in late 2026. After that, festivals here we come. We'll also be developing a longer format version of this story.
