Object Permanence is the next project from filmmaker Celia C. Peters.
This short sci-fi thriller will be shot in Oakland, California in May 2026.
The project features top-tier Bay Area talent, both in front of and behind the camera.

Object Permanence will screen in a short film showcase on September 12, 2026 at
Turpen Aviation Museum at San Francisco International Airport, as part of the
Women of Afrofuturism exhibit presented by SFO Museum.

LOGLINE:
A scientist and her best friend both find what they’re looking for when an interstellar object reaches Earth . . . just not the way they expected.
