The Blueprint, an original work by Filmmaker + Visual Artist Celia C. Peters is currently a part of the Women of Afrofuturism exhibit at SFO Museum at San Francisco International Airport. The exhibit is up May 2025 - mid-November 2026.

AMASUNZU
The Amasunzu is a traditional Rwandan haircut that dates back to the 1400s. It was worn by men to signal strength, nobility, leadeship or warriror status. In the precolonial era, this hairstyle was a must for men; it signaled good character and not wearing it meant being looked at with suspicion.
This style was also worn by younger unmarried women to signal that they were eligible for marriage.
Wearing the Amasunzu required time, care, hygiene, and investing in one's appearance. Bring it back!
